Hi,

Has anybody made an abbreviated Startup Checklist for the Ka-50 like what a real pilot would use. I don't need the reasons behind everything listed, just the sequence and keyboard commands as they apply to DCS.

I could make one myself when I go through the training missions but thought I would check to see if one has already been done to use as a memory jogger after I know the "why" behind what I'm doing. I have found several online but they are 30 pages long and heavily embelished which I know is fun for some players but I doubt a Ka-50 pilot would use a 30 page startup checklist IRL, although almost all real pilots use an abbreviated checklist.

Thanks!

Not sure if you have a smartphone/ tablet, but I use this Android app for the Shark checklists:

Thanks, NavyNuke.

I don't have a smartphone or tablet, so I'll keep looking (or make one myself) but I appreciate the info!

Hey Bucksnort - here is the checklist I use. I use the normal checklist (beginner) as it has a column that lists the panel location of the switches.

I also like it because it has the procedures for ground power color coded so you can use it or skip it, as well as the procedures for taxiing and shutdown.

Hope this helps and good luck!

Everybody gets everything they want. I wanted a mission. And for my sins..they gave me one.

Thanks for the link, TankerWade!

I just downloaded both versions and they sound like just what I was after. As new to the Black Shark I'll certainly be using the Beginners Checklist first and the Pro Checklist may come in handy later.

cheers
