I have a Bombardier Dash 8 Q400 overhead right now.

I don't need a tracker to tell me what's flying over my house, I'm only about a mile from the runway threshold!

I thought this was a thread about the lunar eclipse!

Did you sus out the real time 3D in flight view ? Google plugin style but still very very cool. Found this weird flight path that turned out to be an IAI1124 Westwind, RAAF aircraft

Clouded over here Was perfect skies for the first half then a massive blanket rolled in. Managing to catch a glimpse of it every now and again in small gaps. From my back balcony we have a perfect spot to see it in all of it's glory, the complete cycle..but them clouds

A couple nights ago it was the ISS, but it was too cloudy to see it.

Well I'll never make it as a controller. I was following a Lear Jet out of MSP to StL. Zoomed out and in and lost it at the Iowa border. WTH where did it go?

it shows, but most helicopters not send GPS coords so you can see rotary wing icons not really often.
you will get a lot of additional features if you have your own radio receiver so I can recommend for everyone who interested in it to buy really cheap sdr dongle and try it.

This site is an example of how cool the internet is. Last month a Jet2 737 made an emergency landing at East Midlands after smoke filled the cabin. We were despatched in our Satellite van for the news and parked up at Donington racetrack. When the runway re-opened we were asked to get a shot of a Jet2 plane taking off, I fired up the 3g internet and looked at the airport site for the next flight, then I tracked it on Flightradar 24 and exactly as the site showed it taxi-ing and rolling down the runway it blasted overhead having just taken off. It struck me then how far we've come in the information age!

I find that it doesn't always have complete info. Seems to omit or not show some aircraft even though they would have a transponder.
