Looks great, but is it great?

I used to work for a living, but then I took an arrow to the knee.

I can't remember anything about this one. Is it like the ship portion of star trek online?

I've played for a few hours and enjoying it so far.

I understand it's seen as a modern freelancer but I never played that.

The game is meant to get going properly once you level up a bit and I'm currently still on the first ship with basic weapons. The campaign story is interesting enough to give structure to the game while learning and you can go off and do your own thing whenever you like. There are lots of side missions available too.
