How many guys do you routinely get online at one time? I must be logging on off hours, being way out here in the Pacific.

What a great use of my Friday night flying "The Highway". Sure I went through 5 or 6 Su-25Ts before finally making it to feet wet but once I got Gelendshik and got fuel and weapons - look out REDFOR! BTW I did rack up 3 air to air kills along the way. Great fun thanks Crew!

2 Million! --- Had a good crowd in The Highway last night. Lots of F-15C drivers, which triggered a lot of Red Mig-29s and Su-27s. The mission is still going -- on Day 2 at about 0100 and it is d-a-r-k. BEANS is in there trying to win it for Red! Repair and rearm at Gelen... --- A friend of my father in law wants to fly on his computer, so I'm going to The Old Folks Home this morning to install DCS World and get him up in the air. He's even considering a new computer to run flight sims. I'm wondering if he will be able to grasp the concept of flying on a computer... I told him that if he's going to fly combat a/c then he needs a handle -- my father in law has several suggestions lol. WC

Was fun Crew, sorry I couldn't contribute more to the cause, was an off night for flying, wow. Also there were some tall bottles of beer sampled, but still.

Oh dear i've been down that road. LOL The Old Folks Home has 40 MBps Internet (up to 100 if you want it) -- that's where my Hollo Pointe server is. So I dl'd DCS World at my dad-in-law's friend's place, his handle is Flying Tiger, and got the install package in about 25 minutes. But his computer is sooo slow that it took 45 minutes to install it, and another 20 to load it. I knew this was going to happen, his computer is waay below DCS specs. Whatever... So now FT is ready for a new computer in the ~$1,000 range. What he wants to thinks he wants to do is fly a civilian aircraft simulator and go to airports all over the world. Is FSX the right one for this? I don't know. He's going to come over to my place and fly the Warthog around for a bit to see if flight simming is something he can do. If Yes then he'll buy a yoke most likely. --- The Highway mission got reset about 30 minutes ago, so somebody won the last mission. I'll be in the server after a bit and plan to start Thunder Of Kojori. WC

Thunder Of Kojori
A-10A/C, Ka-50, UH-1H, F-15C, Combined Arms
F10 Fog Of War, Summer, Morning 0600, COOP Air
---
Summary
Below the rumbling volcano of Mt. Kojori to the east lies Williams Field (Tbilisi Airbase).
A recent mineral discovery in the Kojori mine is at the heart of a new regional crises. This material, Rubantium11, has to potential to speed-breed combat units in underground bunkers at night.
Red Democratic Republic (RDR) forces are massing aircraft at Williams Field to control the airspace.
The RDR is advancing combat units toward Kutaisi. Many units apparently made it through the Roki Tunnel before the tunnel was destroyed. Intelligence reports that more RDR units are entering the Tbilisi - Tskhinvali corridor from the east.
The Blue Liberation Front (BLF) has formed a coalition with international interests to prevent the extraction of the Rubantium11 by the RDR.
BLF long-range air to ground attack aircraft are inbound to Williams Field, including SEAD radar suppression.
BLF air assets of A-10Cs and helicopters will work out of Kutaisi Airbase to prevent enemy units from taking the airbase and advancing further west toward the coast.
Blue win - clear 20 miles around Kutaisi Airbase and then kill all Red units at Williams Field - many aircraft are expected to be parked.
Red win - clear Blue units from Kutaisi Airbase and the Patriot site that is south west of the airbase.
---
Blue Task
Kutaisi Airbase, Tower 134, Runway 08/26, ILS 109.75/--, TCN 44X
Vaziani Airbase, Tower 140, Runway 14/32, ILS 108.75/108.75, TCN 22X
Senaki/Kolkhi Airbase, Tower 132, Runway 09/27, ILS 108.9/--, TCN 31X
E-3A AWACS: Overlord, Frequency 124 MHz AM
Predator: Springfield, 122 MHz AM
FARP London, Frequency 127.5
FARP London is located north of Kutaisi Airbase
IP FARP Dallas, Frequency 127.5
FARP Dallas is located 55 klicks north of Williams Field.
Unknown to the RDR, a small team of scientists and special forces are in position above Williams Field.
Scientist Dana Harrow
Col. Rawlings
RTO Gates
Sgt. de Palma, on the laser designator
Protect this group so that our attack on the airbase can be monitored. The group is carrying a laser designator.
We have a CIA video feed at Williams Field. Use this video feed to view enemy forces. There are sixteen BUK launchers at the base, supported by two search radars.
Protect Kutaisi Airbase from capture. Red forces will move from three sides:
1. North east from Kutaisi City and General Vaz' headquarters; 2. South east tank and artillery from Vani;
3. Attacking units from Samtredia that are expected to split - east to our airbase and west to the Patriot site.
To win the mission, clear out all attackers that threaten Kutaisi Airbase. Then launch an attack on Williams Field to catch the RDR aircraft on the ground. This is our chance to strike a mortal blow to the slime-dog RDR mongrels.
When Blue BLF destroys the Red RDR support group at Vaziani Airbase then the base will turn Blue. BLF aircraft will be able to rearm and refuel.
To Win: destroy the aircraft at the center of Williams Field. Check the availability of Vaziani Airbase with F11 View to see if it is Blue and available for our jets.
