Son, you need to read the definition of what trolling means.

Or didn't you expect to rile up the people here by posting your "opinion" back there?

So now you're telling me what my intention was when posting? Here's what my intention was: to say I wasn't interested in the MiG, for the reasons I stated. Now if you have your panties in a bunch over that then that's your problem. Where I come from men don't get all upset about someone voicing an opinion. Then again, I live in the real wild west where we carry guns openly and where the gunfight at the OK Corral happened.

Your mileage may differ. BTW, your continued arguing this point has turned YOU into the troll. And you never answered my question: WTF have YOU done for this community?

When I'm not interested in something, I'm man enough to ignore it. I don't go on the RoF or BoS forums posting that they need to start adding modern planes, or on the XP10 ones telling them they have to add combat.

That's the very definition of "not interested".

You, on the other hand, say that you aren't interested in the Mig 21, a plane that is not an integral part of the sim, made by a 3rd party that isn't part of the developing team, yet you continue to post here, in a manner certainly not constructive.

And who cares about your or my contributions?

Not going to respond. This is the MiG-21 announcement thread. Rugg is right. It's up to each member to judge what is and isn't appropriate for a thread like this. He and I obviously differ vastly on what is considerate and appropriate in this particular thread and what isn't.

Not trolling at all. He voiced an opinion, in the wrong thread. Take it easy Francis, you are the sensitive one here.

They probably make the MIG for me. Because i love this stovepipe, and i fly it even always shoot down by F-15s.

By the way FC has F-5 and F-4 fighters from the same era. The MP not a big deal for me, i never fly online.

Don't get me wrong folks, I understand there are many of you that want this bird. For that alone I'm glad it's available. I guess I'm just frustrated that we're not seeing some more modern stuff. Either way it's good that ED is selling modules because I want to see them continue to prosper in the flight sim world.

So, about that tailgate LAN party... I'm surprised that nobody from the Electrical Engineering department has tried that yet...

This I can agree with. I'm sure there are a lot of people that would love to have all sorts of modern fighters in DCS, probably ED and Leatherneck included. However it seems as if the vocal majority want realistic or bust, I'm no developer but this seems to take more then just time, talent and money. Access to these systems isn't always easy to come by. You can't just fudge it either, simmers will notice. If it was easy and there is piles of money to be made, everyone would be doing it.

Anyways, got my copy and support. Thanks Leatherneck
