I have a x-52 stick and throttle in very good condition. All the knobs and buttons work. I will also throw in my DVD's of FSX and Acceleration in to. Have the activation codes for both. I put both DVDs in one box. I just don't use it anymore.

I will take the best offer for all of it, but please figure in shipping cost.

I also have a core i7 950 cpu with ram. Its was used for about a month (no oc )until I got my 975. Its in original box with heatsink. I hever used the heatsink as I was cooling with water.

Best offer, but please figure in shipping.

I will take a trade for any the above stuff. I'm looking for a Intel® Core™2 Quad Processor (775 socket }.

.

If you have any questions or need photos let me know.

SOLD the video card.

Nice package at a nice price!

On a side note (sorry to side track your sale), do you see any difference in performance between the i7 950 and the 975 Extreme Edition? I am thinking of getting that same CPU or the 980 six core Extreme Edition instead of a full upgrade (MOBO, RAM and CPU). Wish you luck with your sale.

Yes there is a difference. The 950 on some MB that supports the auto oc feature, won't oc near as high as the 975. Also there are some architecture differences in the chip. I thought about upgrading to a 4770k, but my 975 still out performs it. In terms of ocing my asus mb will auto oc my 975 right out of the box at 4.3ghz. I have had it at 5.0ghz but runs pretty hot.

The thing about the core i7 cpus are they were cream of the crop cpus. Literally a step into the future to kinda speak of.

I have given some thought about a Xeon X5650 (same as a 980). It has its pros and cons. It will run cooler and less volts, but needs a supported MB. These chips were designed around a server from what I understand.

If you do have a core i7 chip, unpark the cores for more performance. I got 25% more performance boost with my 975.

Thank you for the insight on these CPUs. I will definitely consider your suggestions.

Thanks for the answer on the RAM. I am looking for 2 more 8GB sticks of RAM.

The ram I with the 950 is triple channel. You are probroly looking for dual channel.

Why don't you just get a used Xeon X5680 hex core!

Same die and form factor as the 980X but with a lower power draw

Most X58 Mobo's (check your mobo chipset) will support the Xeon
chips, at most it will require a BIOS update to run the Xeon.

And don't forget to Sysprep your system if you are going to do an
in place upgrade.

I have been thinking about a Xeon X5680. Just have not pulled the trigger yet.
