Hi everybody.

I haven't been flying BOS for about a month and a half so when I did again I noticed that the FM has changed drastically like it has training wheels on it. Why did the do it? pitchafit

Bf109 rudder behaves much better now.

If you're close, get closer.

I'm pretty sure you'd have to ask the people who put the training wheels on. We just played wiht it a little, didn't touch a thing, promise.

I was very disappointed when the same thing happened to CLod...people don't realize how raw a flight can be and so ask to have it toned down a bit for the game

Post composed with speech to text, it woks grape!

Nothing has changed. There is less bounce, and the 109/190 had revised rudder.

Flying isn't hard, the hardest part is landing - and that still is, aside from taxiing with some planes - which you'll be hard pressed to find anything but stupidly easy/totally unrealistic in CloD.

Yes because oscillation is a designed feature for all 109s

The issue isn't that you're making non fanboy comments, the problem is that you're complaining about changes that were made in response to a massive sh!tstorm of complaining. There was lots of complaining. The devs responded. And now you're still complaining? At this point people are just sick of the complaining.

I think we need to be careful how we present ourselves. Changes in FM should be fodder for good discussion. Maybe the pitch a fit facey put some off, but I'd thought it was Hackl's attempt at inserting some humour into this post.

Supportive discussion will sell copies of this game. Bottom line, so let's pull up our pants gents!

This could have been offered to Hackl in the beginning as it seems this could have addressed his concerns. I read this thread having no idea about a 'firestorm of complaining' and Im thinking what Hackl's thinking

Cross-forum angst is confusing!!

These sims are made by pilots with input from other pilots as well. Most gamers just don't like the extra hardship that it brings to the game & their low success's rates while playing the game...no bouncing around please because my gun sight is too hard to use then, and my landings are ugly to look at, etc. etc.

The 109 FM sh!tstorm was so large that it could have been seen from deep space. I think it was just assumed that everyone knew about it.

Yyyyyyes! Thanks bisher. cheers

Anyway no more whining from me. After three days of flying it again I'll admit I made an ass out of myself and over reacted. Not many whiners admit they make mistakes. I do wish we still skidded across the runway and bounced all over the place but maybe that was a little over kill eh

The reason the complaining labored on and on, and everyone got tired of the #%&*$# was the lack of comment from the developers. When it finally came, the #%&*$# dropped off considerably. It takes two to tango...and the #%&*$# was also from the "It's not a finished product" crowd, as if that had to be pointed out. The bottomline was there was a problem, which to many naysayers had to become acceptable, since it was coming from the developers themselves.

The same for the visibility issues that Nemesis took the time to prove. Without a doubt, these problems exist and impede the sim from becoming an even better one. Having said all that....the FM's have improved for me and I have high hopes for the visibility issues to be tweaked as well. I do not believe that the developers have some kind of secret desire to short change any of us on the quality or the historical accuracy of this sim.

I read a lot of rude, smug, comments on many of these forums from guys that should interact with a lot more class. Not that I'm any better, because I can come across at times...just as rude. Maybe we should just pretend we are sitting at a table as friends sharing the same interest and having a conversation...let's say on FM...or whatever. Instead we are scattered across the globe and type out caustic remarks that we would probably never say in person....

My good friend Neun seems to always make good sense. I've poked fun at myself before in the BOS forum saying I have the "I'm right and you're wrong disease"duel although after my Lizard Brain shuts off and the two hemispheres kick back in I'll sit and reason things out. You should hear me have one on one arguments out load when I mow my lawn...Never get caught doing that!! exitstageleft

Has anyone noticed a change recently to the 109 fm? I pretty much only fly that one plane and it just seems like things have changed on it that I didn't notice before. I don't know how they actually flew so I'm just asking. I noticed that now my aircraft wants to dive and roll left with the stick centered. I have also had several instances of diving at pretty decent speed and not being able to pull out...like no response at all. I thought maybe it was my joystick but I tried the same maneuvers in the lagg and had no issues whatsoever. Any thoughts?
