I've seen her in a few things lately and her jaw line has become even more manly, but the body still looks great...aside from those hands, that is.
For some reason, women's hands age at 2x the rest of their body.

So women get really bad wrinkly looking hands when they get old and men get really big ears and noses when they get old.
I'd call that an even trade.

Close Encounters of the Third Kind - pretty much the whole movie. I remember seeing a very short TV trailer for it without any real scenes and already knowing that I would be fascinated by it. The TV trailer looked like this one: I finally got to see the movie in 1982 at a neighbor's apartment (about 5 or 6 times in a row!).
The Road Warrior (Mad Max 2) - I got totally pulled in and had to see it again and again. I even tried to put hair color streaks into my hair in high school to emulate Mad Max.
Alien - the chestburster scene and John Hurt's hand jerking in his death throes as everyone stood in shock around the breakfast table. I wanted to crawl into my theater seat and disappear!
The Thing - when that guy tried to defibrillate another guy who's chest opened up and bit off his arms - THAT scene! I showed it to my little sister when it came out on VHS and that scene made her cry!
The issue is not p*ssy. The issue is monkey.

I tried watching that once and I couldn't make it past 30 minutes. Just not my cup of tea.

Adrienne Barbeau never did it for me - even when she was younger and on the TV show, "Maude." I know she's well endowed but she looked too manly and rather unfeminine. Admittedly, "Swamp Thing" is a guilty pleasure. It's horrible, but I end up watching it if I come upon it while channel surfing.
The original King Kong did. The Kong vs Rex battle was exciting for any eight year old. I remember being memorized the first time I saw it and just wanting to see it again and again. Unfortunately, VHS and DVDs didn't exist in the 60s so I had to wait for until it's annual airing. A fantastic movie that pioneered FX for the next 60 years.
When Dorothy opens the cabin door for the first time in Munchkin Land, everything is in color. I haven't seen TWoO in many years but that one scene still sticks out for it's impact. Rarely has a special effect been put to such good use without drawing attention to itself for just it's effect. As an audience member you were literally taken from the drab plains of Kansas to the land of Oz..... all because of a dramatic color change.
The Bad Seed when Rhoda is struck by lightning. That sort of thing just didn't happen to kids. At the time I was very young and didn't really understand the concept of Rhoda being psychopathic so when she got zapped it threw me a little bit. I understood she did bad things and should be punished, but a lightning bolt from the sky? Naaah.
Vanishing point: First shot of bewbs.
Jaws. I even felt weird in lake water.
Star Wars for the sheer spectacle of the movie. The impact that movie made can't be under estimated and that impact is often over looked in the passage of time. Nothing like that was ever seen before, and having it on the big screen just cemented the impact on people and in some ways on culture.

The only thing that makes "Swamp Thing" even remotely watchable for me is Louis Jordan. He always made a compelling villain.

Exactly. I also thought they captured the essence/personality of the Swamp Thing without going too crazy. As I said, it's a horrible movie, but for what ever reason it clicks with me. I can't explain it. Would I look for it, rent it, buy it? No. but if I come across it I stop.

First one that came to mind for me was the opening scene in Star Wars, went to see it at the Del Monte Theater in Monterey, CA and they had seats that had some give in them so you could recline a bit and when the Star Destroyer came across the screen the sound system was cranked and vibrated the seats . . . as a kid . . . awesome was the word

When I think of the Swamp Thing movie, I think Adrienne Barbeau

I remember how scary the original "The Thing," was when I saw it as a kid. It was very atmospheric. I always remembered the scene where they hear the loud moaning noise and dogs barking, and look out the window to see the sled dogs attacking it. Later, they open up a cabinet door, and the drained bodies of the dogs come falling out. Freaked me out back then.

Apocalypse Now -- the whole movie from start to finish. But most especially when the sapper threw the bomb in the Helo and when Clean was killed. I saw it when it came out and I was about 13.
