I'm planning on ordering DK2 soon. Getting it working with DCS doesn't sound so bad. I suppose for it to work with BMS might be a little more difficult. I might end up having to use TrackIR and the Rift just for visuals in BMS. Hope not. All that being said, I've reduced myself to just the HOTAS and a G13 while simming. The G13 is mounted directly to the left of my throttle, and I can use it by feel without having to look. I'm trying to pre-train myself for the Rift. The G13 is mainly being used for comms (also for ICP), but I can also use voice commands through Shoot.

That said the DK2 is fun to play around with, and great for developer purposes, but its not ready for serious combat flight sim usage.

Normally I would agree with you on waiting, but I've gotten the feeling that the consumer version could be another two years in the waiting.
