Cold Flying beat me to it! Good to see another monkey on SimHQ! Hoping to get out to Vancouver in the next year with work! Nice. I have chipper envy. We've been using BC600s for years (had one stolen); low overhead and pairs really well with a pickup. But there are times when something bigger would be really sweet. What kind of saws are you running?

Mine isn't very exciting.... Windows, a comfortable looking chair, and some Robert Taylor artwork on the walls.... Want to swap?

Pic of the old office as am pretty much retired now. I had windows too, LOTS of them. Didn't realize I had the little vid below on photobucket. A little poor humor at the beginning then a tiny taste of me making it look easy....after 15 years it was. http://vid115.photobucket.com/albums/n295/Nixer6/MyFirstIPhoneFlick.mp4Goes straight Win Media Player for me. Sorry you if ya gotta copy/pasta into browser, I hope it works.

What kind of saws are you running? Funny you mention the chipper, it did this to me on Tuesday! Anvil under the feed roller worked loose and got dragged into the blades as it took a log through. Blades shattered and got me in the arm and throat. I'm OK besides a stiff neck and some minor tendon damage in my left arm. Warning: Spoiler contains blood! We've just got an 18t lorry with a grab so we've been looking at 15" Bandit chippers, but the 9" Vermeer is doing the job well thus far, despite trying to kill me! Saws. Let me see! All Stihl, of course! 2x 201T 1x 200T 025 w/14" 036 w/16" 441 w/18" 660 w/20-36" (Was running a 14" the other day for high speed firewood processing, stupid!)

A pic of my office would only show: 1) a PC with two monitors for video and audio capture/editing 2) a couple of turntables for playing records (to be digitally captured/edited) 3) several VCRs for digitally capturing/editing video 4) various cables, connectors, gadgets to help facilitate the above My office is in the same place as the folks who provide tech support for Columbus State University's classrooms and computer laboratories. It's like a mechanic's garage except we support PC and AV technology instead of cars.
The issue is not p*ssy. The issue is monkey.

What's the drafting table for in that last one? used it for drawing on and marking up plans and maps, part of the job was designing security systems, plotting coverage areas etc.

Oooohh. Nice! You are lucky indeed. Glad you didn't get it worse than that. We had the same thing happen years ago on al old psycho chipper; just blades, no feed rollers, kind of an all-in-one setup with zero safety mechanisms. So as soon as the branch hit the blades, it fed at 100% speed. Anyway, the base plate came loose and fed through and out the chute. Noise and tearing and sparks everywhere. Me and my climber hit the dirt like it was an air raid. No injuries, just a lot of swearing. Saws. Let me see! All Stihl, of course!

You had a 14" bar on a 660? You getting warp speed on the chain? Good selection of saws though. I have a 460 Magnum (best saw ever!) and a 250. My climber has a 200T, a 250, and a 440. He still has an 025 from way back, a couple of 038s, and two hanger queen Husky 338T climbing saws. Happy cutting!

So SimHQ is populated by people who work in Cold War era nuclear missile command centers (at least that's what I think I'm seeing in Pielstick's photos), even more secretive government agencies, executive offices with windows manned by persons so important that there is nothing on their desk indicating other people under them are the ones with stacks of paper on them, aircraft cockpits, and, for some odd reason, zombie extermination firms that follow the Bruce Campbell method of killing them and the Fargo method for processing the remains. Since I'm 5/7ths retired, here's my office:

Detcord, the tripod on your ruck. Tripod for a Laser Designator ?
I see that is a training mission since you have MILES gear, but what's with the 40's ? Never seen them carried like that. You have a lot of new LBJ that we didn't have. Unless that isn't a MILES on the M16. No MILES receivers on you so you've stumped the chump.
