Today's flight - a pretty short one from Damyn's Hall to Manston in the Alabeo DA40. All Orbx scenery. Experimenting with some ENB and Shade settings...

Well all I can say is whatever you do don't go to the Avsim forums because the collective wisdom over there is that FSX is dead neaner

Nice shots Tigerwulf, especially like the first (it's the Carenado T182T?). And Detcord, that a lot of AI you've got there, looks pretty good!

Thanks mate, it's the Carenado CT206H. Fantastic little aircraft but as with most Carenado aircraft it just doesn't feel as 'alive' as I'd like. Looks great though smile

The two C172s are the A2A with my repaints smile

Yeah I agree. The Carenado stuff that Bernt Stolle did the flight models for are pretty good, but the rest of the flight models are a bit meh. Still enjoyable to fly but as you say, not quite as "alive" as something from RealAir.

Have you tried any of the Carenado or Alabeo stuff in X-Plane? Done by a different developer and quite a lot better than the FSX stuff.

Finally picked up the Sim Skunk Works F-84. Seems pretty awesome. I'm going through the manual and just did a quick run through of basic start-up/shutdown/taxi stuff to get the feel for everything. Pretty happy with it so far.

Got to take the Thunderstreak cross-country. Was quite a nice flight.

Do you have the MilViz F-86? If so how would you rate the SSW F-84 compared to it?

Unfortunately, no. I haven't picked that up yet. It's on my radar, along with about a hundred other things. biggrin
