Yes indeed, but for example these two would be a very different case:

Yes with, Volhov, Neva, (maybe KRUG), and Shilka it is considered as a possible future item.

IMHO Shilka should be No.1 Priority for Optics. tanksalot

Wouldn't be bad to get some more missions for it. The Libyan mission always ends up with me never even seeing the F-111s, and the training range scenario isn't that fun in the long run. What about having it in some War of Attrition missions, didn't the Egyptians have Shilkas?

I was about to suggest Operation Opera, but Egypt sounds great. Looking forward to it!

Same with S-200VE "VEGA"... New scenarios needed ("Baltic express", Vladivostok...).

Would a "Mission Editor" solve your request?
(where you could create, save, and share your situations)

Nope... You're doing really interesting start screens on every mission yep ... also not sure we could match your deep technical, historical and tactical investigation of situations and their representation in the SIM... Also I need to remind you you owe me a mission for S-200VE (I even agreed to say goodby to Vladivostok in favor of "Baltic express" as for the second one you have video, maps, heavy traffic and even some data fron SR-71 book... ).

A mission editor would be great! It'd be a good addition to the current missions, and if user made missions could be shared I'm sure there'd at least be a few people who'd make scenarios.

So, for "Shilka" - new missions, but for S-200VE - some fictional editor after 2 or 3 years???? screwy

Dude, you're getting this for free. If it bothers you that much, make some real scenarios when the editor's out.

Besides, there's already at least 2-3 times as many SA-5 scenarios as there are Shilka scenarios, so I don't understand how you can feel it's not balanced.

Cool down guys.
frosty

Generally putting a system into an existing situation is much easier than creating a completely new one.
