If you had to choose one bird, for instance sparrow, hawk, chicken (hehe) etc... for "Air Force" duties (you can mount mini missiles/bombs etc... lol), which one would you choose as ideal for the job (and why)? I'll keep my personal favorite a secret for now because I want to see what others think as their most logical choice. Any takers?

My choice would be the Mallard Duck. It's one of the fastest birds (interception), very long range (bomber), relatively maneuverable (fighter), it's size allows it to carry a large load, and like Mace's and Coot's choices, it can operate on and under the water (boat and submarine). Imagine an aircraft that can do all of that!

I will go with the 'Satanic Nightjar'. Not too sure about its capabilities but the name alone will strike fear into the enemy. And for pure comedy I will go for the 'Fluffy-backed tit-babbler' *It's real, look it up*

This: Very tough birds, not a lot upsets them. Big strong feet with a hell of a grip, beak that can chew through anything, very intelligent, good problem solvers, persistent and determined to the point of being pig headed, if they want something they are going to get it no matter what you or anybody else says. Extremely well versed in both psychological and sonic warfare. In fact, after having kept one for over two years now I have no idea how they aren't the dominant species on this planet.

Barn swallow.
Fast, aggressive, highly maneuverable, used to long distance deployments.

I'd choose the crow, their intelligence makes up for all their shortcomings.

An owl. Well armed, night vision equipped, stealthy, swift, silent and deadly.
