Very nice shots. I'm very tempted to pick this one up. I see that the FW190 is an extra $20 right now. What comes with the base product? 8 aircraft; in addition to the Namesake IL/2, it also includes early variants of the Pe-2, Yak-9, and Lagg-3. On the Luftwaffe side the 109F-4, G2 and Stuka. (FW190 and La-5 included in Premium) + A basic quick mission mode with 2 maps. + Various multi-player servers. http://il2sturmovik.com/The He-111 is expected to be released soon. Current build is listed at 63%.

I always liked the design of the He-111. The level of detail in BoS is nothing short of amazing.

Don't know the exact framerate but on my 3-year old system (i5-2500 @ 3.30 GHz, 8GB RAM, GTX 460) the movement is totally fluid. The feeling of speed is incredible.

There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the universe is for it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more inexplicable. There is another theory which states that this has already happened.

My desktop PC with a GTX780Ti can push BOS around maxed out, totally smooth as butter at 2560x1440.
My three year old laptop with a GTX460M needs to have the settings turned back to medium/high but is still playable, I'd say 20-30fps.
Rise of Flight should be a pretty good benchmark as BOS is essentially the same engine. If you're happy with how ROF runs on your PC then BOS should be ok too. It's actually a pretty well optimised engine, certainly a lot better than the slideshow that was CloD when it was released.

Awesome shots all, the upper cloud backdrops look brilliant ! What sort of frames is everyone getting ? No idea but I'm running a 5 year old system - i7 920 stock settings, 4gig RAM, GTX 260 and it runs pretty smooth.
