Hmmm, do they all have to be named Bob? Okay, I'll go:

1. Bob Hoover
2. Bob Ross
3. Bob Dylan

Assuming I can bring two of them back to life for the meal.

I'd ask them questions and try to figure out which of them was secretly a ninja.

The opinions of this poster are largely based on facts and portray a possible version of the actual events.

Bob Hoover has not passed yet.
He was the guest speaker for Planes of Fame's taste of flight event in 2012.

I should have specified and said famous people who were still living. I guess I assumed being alive was implied when I mentioned having dinner with them. biggrin

Well, you can have dinner with them after they've died, but it's pretty quiet and eating in cemeteries is usually frowned on.

...plus, you know they won't pick up the tab!

But if your guest is dead they can't order in the first place.

oh... my three celebrities...

Isaac Asimov (RIP) - to thank him for his books
Peter F. Hamilton - for the same reason
Neil DeGrasse Tyson - for making science accessible to so many

there are many other I'd just like to shake the hand and thank - but they are probably busy enough or too deceased to care.

My lovely daughter, one years and three weeks of age, has discovered walking. Yesterday she took my hand and we walked out the door, to the elevator (we live on the 8th floor), into the compound (I did have to help her down the stairs at the main entrance of our apartment building), and back again. She was tired afterwards but sooooo satisfied. It took 20 minutes for her to walk the 100 meters that the trip covered. And that's quite a bit faster than Curiosity can manage.

...she also discovered music. And yes, Lewis, that's the Cherokee manual, printed and bound.
