It's pretty good. I just wanted a good quality Beaver that wasn't the stock one. Quite a few liveries, and models with floats, skies, bush and regular tires. Maybe a little much for such an old model, but I'm enjoying it anyway. Next thing I plan on snagging is the SSW F-84F! Thanks for the answer. One last thing, is it bug free ? I'm asking this because I bought the Dornier 27 (published by Aerosoft, also 7 years old, only for $37, a real bargain !) a few weeks ago and it came with 2 major bugs. One made the windshield completely opaque when flying trough rain/clouds and the other makes the rear windows opaque too. (you'd think by now they'd have had the time to include the fixes in their download, nope, would probably cost even more if they did...) I was able to find a fix for the windshield but not for the rear window. Ask on their forums a week ago, no answer... My patience is wearing thin with aerosoft, what's happening to me with the Do-27 is unacceptable, not for a full price 7 years old addon. sorry for the rant @plainsman Wow, that's impressive. Is the entire europe covered with this level of details ? Or some area have received more love than others ?

I'm sure I've heard Aerosoft are going to do a "Beaver Extended" just like they re-worked the Twin Otter X into the "Twin Otter Extended". It's pretty scandalous that in 2014 the only Beavers for FSX are the default one and the original Aerosoft one which if I'm not mistaken was the very first FSX native payware aircraft.
As for the Do-27..... it was made by Digital Aviation. It was originally an FS9 addon and was ported over to FSX but never made fully SP2 native before the lead developer quit the scene. It's a great aircraft and a crying shame it never got made fully SP2/Acceleration compatible. I agree it doesn't reflect too well on Aerosoft that they are still selling it at full price and the product description does not mention it's an FS9 portover and all that entails...
Digital Aviation don't exactly have a squeaky clean record either. They've done some really great stuff over the years like the Piper Cheyenne and Diamond DA-20, but they've also got a few black marks against their name.... the failure to properly update the Do-27 to FSX being one, and their failure to keep their promise to develop a VC for the FS9 and FSX Fokker 100 they did. They've also been developing a CRJ for what seems like forever and a day. Whether or not that ever sees the light of day is also perhaps open to question.

Thank you very much I'm relentless when looking for a fix for an aircraft i pay for. The Alpha jet wasn't payware, but i spent a lot of time looking for that Luftwaffe repaint. Joined vGAF forums just to get it lol.
