This video shows my first take off and landing in the Fw 190.

I have seen multiple videos of people showing their first experience with a new DCS module and I think it is a cool idea. So here is mine!

I have to say that I watched the take off and landing videos from official DCS once, so I knew how to taxi.

Engine sounds are NOT ingame.

That was a damn good video! Loved the editing you did there and the camera angles. Felt like I was watching the real thing ... Which would be terrifying to see a takeoff like that in real life wink

What causes the sudden severe nose down when your wheels leave the ground in DCS prop FM?I find the FM,at least in the P51 to have this behavior.I can do crosswind landings and only crashed maybe two times in ten of my first TO's and landings so I am pretty good at flying.Just wondering as I never seen a pilot have to fight the controls of an old warbird soon after takeoff but every video I watched opf DCS looks like the above video.

Maybe you are pulling back too hard? Just let the Mustang take off by itself. Center the stick once you have build up some airspeed and then the tailwheel will rise and the Mustang will just take off without any input from the stick.

well, planes fly better in ground effect.. so when you force a plane in the air early, it isn´t going to fly well when you leave ground effect.. and therefore nose-down is rather healthy ;=)
