Looks mighty good to me. Part SWAT, part classic Rainbow Six. Sure are a lot of gadgets though.

Agreed! I should've mentioned that the enemy can set up barricades and traps and R6 can gather intel and breach (before telling people to skip to 4:30). smile

I don't get it. What is the point of taking hostages in the game? The bad guys do not use them as shields and they don't kill them when the good guys start blowing the house up.

Oh god, I turned the video off after about 20 seconds just before they started the game.

I can't stand it, I really can't. Maybe its because I am an old fuddy duddy, but I just can't stand the crap they push out as fresh and fantastic.

Hostage scenario, 3 minutes, team deathmatch play..... Really. REALLY !!

F#ck off. Its not new, its not fresh, its the same game mechanic you could probably find that's what better part of a decade old or older. Counterstrike anyone? That was many many many years ago and multiple computers ago and I don't upgrade often.

Rubbish, not interested in another team deathmatch clone that has nothing new except maybe updated visuals and perhaps some better animations.

they can shove it. I won't get my 20 seconds back.

Devs said there was stuff there, but you just couldn't see it.

I posted on the tactical forum.

I think it looks fun. I think the god-mode drones are too much and will take away from the excitement of gameplay, but in today's console gaming world all FPS games must have an easy button.

Damage model looks good, no regenerating health crap, destructible environments. I mean, it's clearly still "action oriented" but it's a step forward from most console shooters I think.

Gotta admit, the invisible drone was weird. I hope they change that. At least in Splinter Cell the UAV is fairly easily spotted. The number of wall breaches was a little odd too, those things aren't pocket sized.
Still, it looks closer to a shooter I want to play than anything else in almost 10 years.
I also hope they drop the timer. Why would there have to be a timer?
