Kinda looks like a BE-1900. Am I right?

Now the fifth pic has got me stymied.

The JS41 actually did cross my mind but I dismissed it as the aircraft in the pic looks like it has a t-tail.... which says King Air to me.... but the nose was all wrong for a King Air.... so I was back at square one!

Thinking about it, the JS has a mid-mounted tail, which makes sense now.

Still, that's a really good angle to take a screenshot from if you want to test somebody's aircraft identification skills thumbsup

PMDG 777F after the recent service pack. The start of a flight from East Midlands airport to Iceland.

Had a brake temp. warning, so running the check list

Having to hang the gear out for 8 minutes after the brake temp warning goes out

Passing over the Peak District on the way to the coast

Looks like a few scattered spots of turbulence up ahead

Nice stuff.

The PMDG 777X is truly an impressive addon. I especially like the weather radar on the ND! Something I have to check out. Maybe I could get some Activesky historical weather for the recent big thunderstorms and see what it looks like.

I also like the AI, what package are you using?

I just could never get into airliners in FSX the same way I did in FS9... probably because of the performance and VAS issues. I can fly the PMDG 747-400 or Wilco Airbus into or out of a large detailed airport like UK2000 Heathrow or FlyTampa Dubai with dozens of AI aircraft, heavy weather... and FS9 doesn't skip a beat. If I tried that in FSX it would run like a slideshow and then eventually choke on memory. That's kind of why I haven't plonked my credit card number down for the 777-300ER expansion, I know I'd never get anything like my money's worth out of it.

Looks like the Midlands X addon to me. It has it's own static traffic.

Yes - DetCords right it's UK2000 East Midlands own static AI. As the airport is a large cargo hub there's a nice mix of aircraft.

East Midlands was my hub when I was flying for a BMI VA. It rates up there with Birmingham for some of the worst cross-winds in the UK during inclement weather.

It's functional but doesn't look as good as the T-45.
I feel like the camera is too much forward in the cockpit, have the same problem with the T45, but maybe that's just me.

A few other shots

Nice repaint Billyote.
Is it the aerosoft Beaver ? Do you recommend it ? I've been lurking at it for a while but the price tag seems ridiculously high for an addon released in 2007.

I don't understand why FSX addons remain so expensive for so long.

Arma 1 got released in 2007 too and you can buy the gold edition on steam for $10.
The beaver cost 3 times more !

Anyway...I think I'm in love

Nice DC-3! I am waiting for the release of the vintage cockpit to complete the "hump" portion of my round the world flight.
