If two aircraft are within in the wide mode and one is friendly, I'd say the majority of the time it will lock the friendly bird. I can barely figure out what the vertical mode is trying to scan, as it doesn't seem to care what targets are out in front and above me while I'm in a turn and constantly keeps turning off. All of them are SLOW as sh--. If I can't fix this, I'm giving up on F-15. The only ACM radar mode that appears to work reliably is boresight, and that has limited use.

The term "necroposting" was invented by a person with no social memory beyond a year. People with a similar hangup are those o.k. with the internet being transient vapor.
