I'm about to buy a Viper but wondered if anyone had got one yet and could say what the shields are like? I don't want to have a hull like papier mache lol

Still got 8 tons of cargo space and I want rid of this Hauler as it's a bus with only 16 tons of space.

Shields are good but be careful of the weight. If you go 2 of each C4 and C2 weapons, you are limited to 4 LY jump distance.

I bought one anyway

I like the ship and the speed is fantastic but I find the shields lacking or could be the hull. I think you must have to have really powerful guns and get the first shots off as I have been getting stripped down very fast and had to use my speed to escape.

I'll be getting the Cobra next
