Crimson Guard still sounds good, although it does sound a bit like a lady's monthly appliance with "wings".

Premium time + prime mech, I've made about 250k on a lot of our win rounds lately. And we've had a lot of wins.
I'm up to 7mil after bottoming out on a module buying frenzy. Plenty of IS mech stuff I can do without if I decide to sell some crap off.
Shouldn't take long to get built up.

For anyone that doesn't have a red color, that Kurita sale has Caput Mortuum and Rust on sale half off right now. I think I'm picking up that "Caput" one just because it
looks good. I can't tell the difference between it and hot rod red that I've eye'd before.

Got 65 mil in C-Bills and can help out with a couple tickets if needed. Either Crimson Guard or Crimson Vanguard sounds good

I'm in as well, haven't had much time to play the last couple of weeks but have 90M saved up and can help buy another ticket or two if needed.

I've only got about 8M CB right now, and I'm trying to save up for a Timberwolf when they're released for CB.

Plus, we're expecting a baby girl at the end of August. So my ability to get online for MWO might be pretty limited, let alone my ability to play at prescheduled times when others are counting on me being there.

So I may be cheering you guys on from the sidelines for a while.

How many licenses do we have to buy to create the unit? I can't remember, but it isn't like everyone has to pitch in.

I would be willing to bet that when/if community warfare actually becomes a THING, there will be a burst of new players and old ones returning that will be joining in.

Heck, if Feetwet could come back, then ANYTHING is possible!




EDIT: The original buy-in was 12 tickets at 18 mil each.

I'm good for 3 maybe 4 if need be. I don't think it will be a problem to get to 12.

Just to clarify. I believe that the 12 requirement is to form a merc corp, but once the corp is created we don't have to drop as 12. I think we can drop any size lance like we do know so there is no obligation to be on all the time. Basically I think it will run just like we run know...at any size and casual.

That was my understanding too. A requirement to buy __ many tickets, in any way (some could buy more than one), to establish the unit. Then we form our own internal rules for letting others join after that. It isn't required that everyone buy in just to join. Don't let the cost run you off, but we will need enough to get up and running, preferably on the first day.
Drops in game shouldn't be any different until the 3rd stage of CW, when it goes from basic warfare to a more complex structure.

Thurs is the main night, but Tues/Wed are pretty reliable, even if a smaller group. You never know when a spontaneous game night will happen though. Once people check and see someone is on TS in the MWO room, they tend to hop on.

Is your MWO pilot name "S4ndman" as well? Once you get your in-game friends list built-up, you can use that to see who's playing and/or hop on the SimHQ teamspeak server MWO channel.
