Well, it has been a while since I last got off my backside to give you guys anything, but after waiting half a year for a replacement for my Sigma, I finally left the sofa and attended the Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford.
Sadly I got there a bit later than I intended, missing the Su-22 display to add to the disappointment of the F-35s not making it, but it was still a much better day than I anticipated.
Nice work; particularly impressed with the Red Arrows head-on. One there 'no.4', don't know the type looks like it is being held together with black tape. Perhaps the glue hadn't dried in time for the show.

The Fitters,..just as expected,..loud, low, fast,..ish, and 8 miles to come back for another pass. They were glorious. Cold war heavy metal.
