My son has 30 minute showers and I'm sure they would go on for longer if I wasn't shouting at him through the door! How can anyone shower (on their own lol) for 30 minutes?! I'm in and out in around 5-10 minutes so he uses more gas/water than I do all week, in his one shower.

It really annoys me and I've told him just now no more as it's wasteful but he swears he hasn't been in more than 10 minutes.......AAAAAAARGGHHHH! Kids!!!!

I assume he isn't coming from the field after a miserable 3 days with no shower and 20 miles of rucking, because I take 30 minute showers then (other wise it's 5 minutes including shaving).

Yea, he's "enjoying" himself.

There have been many times in my kids' lives I've used a kitchen timer to get them to either take their time on something or hurry the hell up. They just don't have any concept of time.

At home growing up we had two toilets. If one was taking to much time in the shower, the toilet would be flushed and that hot shower would turn to cold water. If the hint wasn't taken to get out of the shower, the toilet would be flushed again. I would imagine running water from a tap might do the same.

The Fw190A could not fly with the outer cannon removed.
There was no Fw190A-8s flying with the JGs in 1945.

I was going to offer that advice KraziKanuk, but I suppose it depends what type of system he has. I now know never to put the washing machine on just before I have a shower.

I have all the pipes and shutoff valves in the basement marked. Shutting the hot water off to the bathroom does wonders for a youngin's learning curve.

Never understood the "must be in and out by this time" shower concept.I love long showers where I just let the hot water ease my tension away. Its the only time of my day where I can just stop thinking and soak.I get up 1/2 hhour early every single day to do just that.;)

The next person in line has no hot water after someone takes a 30 minute shower. Not only that, it's wasteful because you're using 6 times as much water as necessary, and however much more energy it takes to heat the extra water. I say do a little math and start billing him for any water & energy used past 5 minutes. smile

It's my shower and my soap and I'll wash whatever part of my body as many times as I feel need it.

So there.

Also, get off my damned lawn.

Maybe if you stop shouting at him, he'll be "finished" sooner!

In all my years I've never seen the like. It has to be more than a hundred sea miles and he brings us up on his tail. That's seamanship, Mr. Pullings. My God, that's seamanship!

Try having teenage daughters
I could buy a new car if I added my electric bills for the year.
And we are getting water metres very soon.
