I finally got my PC running again after almost 3 months and only just installed BoS again. When I went into the game the Missions menu only showed one mission - the ground attack mission for the IL-2. Is this supposed to be? I remembered missions for all the available aircraft before my PC broke.

The issue is not p*ssy. The issue is monkey.

Yeah, there is only one mission and the last time I tried it it was quite broken. I guess the reason is that keeping those single missions working when the code and map evolves is a job which is not a priority. There will be single missions and campaigns along the line but until that day it's strictly quick missions and multiplayer close combat.

I wish they could have made a quick mission editor which enables more like real missions and not the instant action ROF stuff. Air to air works fairly well though ...

That mission isn't broken, I fly it regularly. It is quite hard to survive and make it home though.

Today after arriving at the German airfield all planes (three or so other Sturmoviks, some Laggs and one 109) disappeared few kilometers from action except mine and one pesky 109 that continued to chase me, so can't say for sure it's working ok.

And no Ian I did not made it back home

I'd only flown that mission twice before flying it again just now after reading this thread.
The first time, made it home with an injury and lost a few planes. Second time I died.

This last time just now, I destroyed 3 aircraft on the ground in one low rocket and gun pass and made it home with every other aircraft
all unscathed including my own. My guess is I'll never be able to do that again.

Yes, low approach, single pass, get out.
