This is a very simple addon which completely removes the so-called 'closure sounds' for all small arms. This is the extremely loud 'clicky click' you hear when firing, which makes all small arms sound high-pitched because it steps on the lower blast sound.

Client-side only addon, signed. Uses code from TMR. Released under the terms of the GNU GPL v2.

IIRC, you should only hear that for silenced weapons like the MP5SD. Otherwise you've got some HDR ears going. smile

Updated. New version works w/ Bootcamp.

Also added to Steam Workshop.

I also want to note that I checked, and the closure sound does not actually correspond to whether the bolt has locked back or not, i.e., you cannot use it to detect if you have just fired the last round in your magazine, causing the bolt to lock open. So don't worry, you're not losing any game state information.
