Really enjoyed the "old" Mig Alley, primarily the F-86 vs. Mig 15 action. Something about the canopy reflections in the distance and the similar flight models that really made you need to be on top of your game to survive the fight and be able to rtb and fight another day.
What is the best Mig Alley option available out there?

I miss it too. That was a great combat sim. Lots of fun. Unfortunatley the Korean war has been overlooked in favor of WW2 & Modern jets with fire and forget missles. Jets with guns are always my favorite.

I understand War Thunder has the F-86 and Migs, but I know very little about it. I think those planes need to be unlocked and its an MMO, so I never really played with it.

DCS is going to have an F86 released this month, but I dont know if there will be a Mig down the road or an AI Mig to go with it. Eventually, this may make a close Mig Alley like sim.

I think there is a Korean war mod or addon for Strike Fighters 2 which gives you the F-86 and Korean war era planes. Haven't tried it, but its on my list of sims to try.

Well DCS released the Sabre, and the flyable MiG 15 may soon follow, but unless there's a Korean map..Awww Hell, bring back MiG Alley.
