Curious if this is still getting any online play on the pc. I had it for the Xbox 360 but not on the PC and was debating whether to give it a try.

Yes there is. The servers are most active in the evenings (US time), with 2- 3 servers near capacity then. I will say that occasionally the hacks will get on and ruin it for an hour or so, but most servers have admins present. Good luck if you choose to try it on the PC and maybe I'll see you on.

Good to know. I might give this a try as early as tonight.

This was one of my all-time favorite games on the 360. It'll surely look better on the pc. Only downside is the communication might be an issue. Probably not as many people using comms.

Almost nobody uses comms, but it's the last Battlefield game worth playing, IMO.

Well, I still think BF3 is the best of the series but I had a lot of fun playing BC2 on the 360.

I actually got into a couple of matches on the Xbox last night. I was reminded of one of the things I really did NOT like about the game. The choppers could be a real problem. They were virtually impossible to shoot down and could really dominate the battlefield.

I'm still on the fence about buying it. I'm more likely to buy it if they have a sale. Right now it's priced the same as BF3, which doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me.

BF3 isn't bad on console.

I've got BF3 for both the 360 and the PC. Arguably, it is better on the 360. The teams are just the right size, IMHO, and there's more people on comms. I still like it on the PC but, somehow, it was more fun on the xbox.

I'm really not a fan of 64 player servers, regardless of the map size. I honestly think 64 is too many. 48 is manageable but anymore than that and it's just mayhem.

I haven't played any BF games for a few years but may be fun to play this again. I hate playing solo but if there is anyone wanting to team up and use comms I would be interested.

That many people playing the game Call of Duty-style and it just degenerates into a bar brawl with guns.

last time I joined a 64 player Server on BF3, there was 14 snipers on the top of the hill (by the highway) of karkland sniping people as they spawned.

I still ocasionally go to bad company, the teams are more united there, in bf3 i never had a good experience with a team or squad, ocasionally i'd band with one or 2 players that were actually trying to help the team and playing as a unit.
