I used to think that OOKLA’s www.speedtest.net was the best global broadband speed test until I tried using it on my Android tablet. On the tab it was sketchy at best and sometimes it just stopped working between DL and UL phases. I'm thinking www.bandwidthplace.com seems to be the better solution for all devices. [by all means, flaunt your bandwidth here! ] *EDIT one year after my OP and I'm no longer a fan of www.bandwidthplace.com. OOKLA reigns supreme. Just sayin'.

That's pretty darn fast Edit: I see Tigerwulf is getting 90Mbps. Wow. I'd like to get away from Telstra but there's not much choice outside of the cities.
This is Bobby Rahal, thanks for playing the trial version of Microsoft's CART Precision Racing

It's lovely living in rural England but: I have also had to install a booster/repeater to get a cell signal. According to the 'Fast Broadband for Worcestershire' site latest; whose is the only exchange in the county it seems not to be fibre enabled? guess

[edit] I thought the above was pretty low, and realized the wife was recording the max allowed onto the DVR while watching something in HD...with UVerse, the same bandwith gets split to provide everything. So here it is without the TV recording stuff and all of them off:
