From me too, America - have a good celebration! I guess many of you will make a barbequeue?
Or how do you celebrate your independance?

Corsaire, may the better team win - and let's both hope for a really good refery.
The rest lies in the hands feet of the players.

That reminds me that it is my sister's birthday today! It's quite easy to remember as is mine - December 25th ....

I happened to be in Rheims back in 1998 and that was a great day for drinking champagne! I am always glad to join in a celebration.

Sorry to be picky, Jim, but you write it Reims. No "h" in there.

Thank you Sir! Olham, for myself we will be celebrating it by having family and friends over, ride horses, grill hamburgers, and watching your two countries soccer play.

Well the Michelin guide is as confused as I am - note both spellings on this page:

http://travel.michelin.com/web/destination/France-Alsace_Lorraine_Champagne-Rheims

At least I know how to pronounce it neaner

This reminds me of Peter Sellers as Inspector Clouseu in one of the Pink Panther films. He goes to book into a hotel, speaking with his ridiculous 'French' accent:

IC: 'ave you a room?
clerk: I'm perfectly well thank you.

Only one person in the cinema laughed. My wife. He pronounced 'room' as 'rheum'.

Jim, let's not start with "Inspector Clouseau" - it is extremely ridiculous and hilarious -
and I laugh every time. The death-defying slow motion karate jumps can make me collapse

Thanks!

Yesterday was Great, time for me and friends.

Today was better. Spent with Grandkids. I have them until tomorrow night. Campfires, ATV and tractor rides, frog and lightning bug catching, bb guns and art class to make targets, and a little WOFF.

WOFF...grandkids like it too.

Mudwasp, It seems there is not much difference between upstate NY and south Mississippi. Except the accent i am sure. Sounds like a grand time.

It was a good time, will do a couple more before school starts. They wore me out! It's kinda nice to have the house quiet again, but I'll miss them and look forward to next time.
