Algeria ran for they life but it was clear this could only last 70 mins or so.
They would have had a big chance to win if they had scored in this time.
But after that it was only a matter of time until Germany knocked them out.

I wished Schrrle had made his goal 2 mins earlier to save some bedtime for me,lol.

Overall i think the game was a good prequel for the Germans for the Friday match against France.

Anyone see a top favorite team at the moment? I don't but this makes the Worldcup a lot more interesting...

I know Belgium is heavily favored but I am not giving up hope on a US win.

It's time...it's time...

It's time to hate the Belgians.

I call for a boycott on Waffles, and today I will call my Hoegaarden "Freedom Beer"!

Hehe.

I think US has an even chance on this one, just hope Bradley shows up for this game, he's been MIA in the midfield the whole tournament so far.

You and me both! He is due for a good game. All I want to see from him is to not give the ball away and make a few good throughballs to unlock the Belgians.

No, now go away or I shall taunt you a second time!

Yeah +100, even not giving the ball away in risky situations would be a huge improvement!

What about Altidore? Is he at least on the bench? Could be crucial to have a second dedicated offensive player.

Close to penalties... That requires a second heart. But we won... we're good for now.

You surely know this by now, but yes he is. The US has no grip on this match so far. Need to keep the ball better!

91 minutes of absence of goals were quite entertaining, but there it is - DeBruyne scores 1:0 for Belgium.

And now, Tim Howard goes back into the locker room, and cusses out everybody on the team except for Green and Yedlin, then punches all the defenders and midfielders in the face repeatedly. Except Yedlin and Green.
