Check your power settings:
Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Power Options
Whichever one you use, go to change plan settings
Change advanced power settings
-find USB settings
-disable USB selectve suspend
Was it on or disabled already?
While you're there, do the same thing for PCI-E link state mgmt.
If the USB setting was already off, then you may have a problem. Go online and get the most up to date drivers.
If it was on, try it for a while. Those two settings just don't work well IMO and sometimes they don't "wake up" right.
