I think it's illegal for the referee to use any kind of monitor.
I think a change would be good. The only thing it could possibly hurt is slowing the game down, but we already spend that time rolling around doing prayer face. Some traditions, their reasoning removed by technology, can die. France vs Ecuador is the one I want to see today. Argentine Nigeria has a lot of potential.... we'll see.

We don't bite Nope, but you score after you made everyone fell asleep. And then the people are blocking all the streets, huge traffic jams for 3 hours, with constant honking, people shouting and jumping on the roof and hood of the cars... Yup, that's what happened in Liege on Sunday, just at the foot of our building. Man, I'll be glad when "our" team will be out, for that only!

It worries me to no end that Argentinian players seem to be out of shape. 20 minutes to go and they were already tired to death. If we have to go to extra time we are done.
When you're feeling sad, just remember that somewhere in the world, there's someone pushing a door that says "pull".

Scary, we got this very "nice" red card, and we still played sloppy with no accuracy and with no finishing brain... If we play like this on Monday, we will come home much earlier than expected... I know it was mostly a B-team but it is still worrisome.

B-team and conserving stamina for the rest of the tournament. If some of those teams believe they can keep up the fast pace they have been playing at - in these temperatures in the north - their players will start dropping like flies in the next games. Nice comeback by Switzerland thanks to Shaqiri. Should be an interesting game against Argentina.

Depends on the officials: sometimes they are, especially if conditions are such as to make playing on the pitch impossible (like for example the ball does no longer roll on the field.) So far FIFA's communication efforts indicate that the game will be on as planned. Of course conditions like these will increase the chances of the game being the "coveted" tie.

Ref is scheduled to inspect the field at 11am ET, we will know after that.
All right, sweethearts, what are you waiting for? Breakfast in bed? Another glorious day in the corps! A day in the Marine Corps is like a day on the farm. Every meal's a banquet! Every paycheck a fortune! Every formation a parade! I LOVE the corps!

Disgusting, should have been much more.
There was only 16 squadrons of RAF fighters that used 100 octane during the BoB. The Fw190A could not fly with the outer cannon removed. There was no Fw190A-8s flying with the JGs in 1945.
