What's with the awkward long arms? It reminds me of that horrid dinosaur game "Trespasser".

UGH....

If it had a funny take on baking it could be fun.... Like leave something in the oven to long and it explodes. It seems mundane, but who knows? As a casual game for a casual user it might be something interesting to mess around with after work I guess.

I predict a "Sleeping Simulator" in the future.

can't understand this one. a simplified baking game, i can understand. but if you go to great lengths to simulate each finger... just bake in real life.

this has to be a joke

I thought I read somewhere that it was made in a couple of days for a competition or something. Looks sorta boring and frustrating rather than 'wacky' like some of those other 'perform a simple task' games such as QWOP or Octodad.

I look at it this way--if people are willing to pay them for something that is obviously stupid, they're going to waste their money SOMEHOW. This isn't a case of preying on the elderly with some investment scam or anything, they're saying "hey, if you pay us we'll make this completely stupid program" and people are PAYING it.

If I stand on a corner with a sign that says "won't work for money" and people give me money, is it my fault or the stupidity of the people who give it to me? If I'm not there, those idiots are going to waste their money on something else anyway.

As long as it makes money it isn't bad, but this strikes me as one of those things where the only people that'd buy it are people that did it as a joke or those that would get more out of real baking instead.

I agree with Jedi's post. Paying for this game would be like paying for a ticket to see a Uwe Boll movie at the theatre. You KNOW it's going to be crap but it's your fault if you are dumb enough to waste money on it. smile

Now if they say "we're going to make this awesome kitchen sim" and instead you get a bunch of ingredients spreadsheets with some mumbled talk about lack of investors THEN it's a scam. THAT I have no patience for. If you promise a Lexus and deliver a 30 yr old Hyundai on blocks, you deserve ruination. But if you say "for sale, 30 yr old Hyundai on blocks!" and people buy it, more power to seller and buyer.

Not only that, but all arms have freckles. I'm counting 0 freckles. NOT a simulator.

I think the real sleeper app that will make tons of money, is a "cell phone user simulator" made specifically for cellphones. And also a "tablet user simulator" made only for tablet users. The marketing could be brilliant. Imagine! Now you too can make phone calls with the touch of your finger, change volume by using your own voice! Move windows around the screen with a simple swipe of your finger! Now you too can polish your cellphone skills with the new Cellphone User Simulator app!

At least they won't have to gimp the graphics to match console versions.
