Is it just me, or did the England goalie look like wanted to get out of the way on that second goal?
All right, sweethearts, what are you waiting for? Breakfast in bed? Another glorious day in the corps! A day in the Marine Corps is like a day on the farm. Every meal's a banquet! Every paycheck a fortune! Every formation a parade! I LOVE the corps!

What a strange cup this is. All the big teams are not delivering, expect Netherlands, but the rest, meh. Enlgland's now loosing and risking getting kicked out. Huh? Germany? Italy? France? All won their first matches. Yes, but none of them was "wow, what a team". They won but they didn't look that solid. Or at least not as solid as I remember them...

Is the end.
Now England need that Italy defeat Costa Rica and Uruguay on his next two games. And England must defeat Costa Rica A tie between Costa Rica and Italy it would be the end for England.
A truly DEATH zone.

I thought Germany was quite convincing in their 4-0 trouncing of Renaldo and friends.

It"s a tournament, a cup, and the difference between getting qualified for the next round and being ousted can be very very thin : a foul, a foot, a goal post...now, seems the latin America teams play an offensive and talented game, very nice ( with the exception of Honduras in the group where the lucky French team is playing)

Tomorrow we'll see in what shape Costa Rica is really in. Even though they defeated a (then) weak Uruk-hai in the first game, Italy should be more than able to win. Against the Uruks as well. England also has the potential to win against Costa Rica. So all is not lost for England (yet).

Oh what a surprise England lost... LOL! Still, being a little more serious, i must admit that on later years, specially the previous worldcup and this one, i saw, and ít's just an opinion, a decrease in the quality of England playing. It's like the team it's not living up to his history. I was specting a lot more from England on this WC, but the same happened on the last WC, although they did classified the zone on 2010. They have good players, but the playing just seems to have a lower performance of what do you expect considering the players they have.

Wow congrats to Uruguay and especially Suarez who was terrific 1 month after knee surgery.
I feel bad for England, better squad this time and they played bravely, but not enough quality on defense to stop the truly good strikers.

Ssnake, Hansundfranz,
Apart from making Gareth Bale available, where would lie the advantage?
In any case, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales would most definitely not want to be part of a UK football team. National pride is gradually leading them along the path of devolution and a Disunited Kingdom, anyway.
Last night, we were knackered by the best and the worst from Liverpool FC.

There should have been more than one that should have had their pitch time shortened with the continuous deliberate fouling by a certain team.
There was only 16 squadrons of RAF fighters that used 100 octane during the BoB. The Fw190A could not fly with the outer cannon removed. There was no Fw190A-8s flying with the JGs in 1945.
