Pretty model, great damage effects.

All right, sweethearts, what are you waiting for? Breakfast in bed? Another glorious day in the corps! A day in the Marine Corps is like a day on the farm. Every meal's a banquet! Every paycheck a fortune! Every formation a parade! I LOVE the corps!

Awesome! Can you post a link to where you bought the kit? I've been keeping my eyes open for a good X-wing kit (i.e. not the Revell easy-kit), and this looks pretty damn good - although a lot of that might be your construction and painting skills. smile

Very nice looking.

The display stand is interesting, it reminds me of the photon torpedo impact in shape and the angle it holds the model.

@FlyingToaster,

I purchased this kit on eBAY. Just do a quick search for ERTL X-Wing Return of the Jedi. This particular kit was from a 1990s run.

Nicely built!

The stand is the original kit version, from back when they came from MPC. As I recall, the kit had two slots in the bottom - one where the fuselage bulged, and one under the cockpit. If you put the stand in the bulged section, the angles matched up to display it level, but if it was put in under the cockpit, it held it in a nose-up attitude.

The best one out is probably the Fine Molds edition, available in 1/72nd and 1/48th scale. Kind of pricey, but really well made kits.

Thought you might get a kick out of this guys Star Wars stuff here from an homebuilt arcade site I frequent. This guy has some amazing models and Star Wars swag!

Great model wish I had the time and patience for such a hobby.
