They didn't start at the bottom, their "start" (as BMS) was picking up where OF (which is a descendant of RP) stopped. That said, I really don't know if any of this stuff had been removed at some point, though I can't imagine why they would be. I don't remember reading anything about them being removed in any of the BMS changelogs either.

IT has been in bms forums many times that many, many things in RP5 manual are not working in BMS yet.

Just go and ask mav-jp or dee-jay and you see smile

-edit- Well i was already posted in this thread.. old me old_simmer but some of rp5 manual things are there , some not.

Many things yes, but these particular things? As I said, I don't know, some things were indeed removed or changed, but anyway my point was that BMS isn't based on vanilla.

Is there a delay in response between ground units spotting of airborne units and this being relayed to interceptors or is this immediate?

The term "necroposting" was invented by a person with no social memory beyond a year. People with a similar hangup are those o.k. with the internet being transient vapor.

There is delay, and after some test it seems to be even longer delay if their Aircommand operations center in current sector is destroyd etc..

Don't take the airplane out of the hanger. I guarantee, no one will spot it.
