i see springs for the pedals, any chance of using loadcell or hydrualic dampening? They are brakes after all, not gas pedals

I think no. Using loadcell or hydrualic dampening = need a more solid construction = more weight = biggest price

Yes, minimum width. But this is only a project. Abuot conversion - maybe, i do not know yet.

Two questions though:

Can the plate on the bottom be removed and the holes used for hardmounting or is it a vital piece in the construction?

Is it possible to adjust the how far apart the pedals are?

In the picture plate - it's just improvisation. But yes, you can.
There are three distances yet.

Sounds very good, the "mock up" you've done look amazing and actually like that it's not encased like some "big brand" pedals, it's seeing alot of the working things in them ^^

I need about 1 month and I will have the first pedals (1 pc.) After that, some time to tests and if all is OK, then ...........will see.
I can only say that the appearance has changed.
