LOL not just another new hero (BJ-A), but they're actually encouraging poptarting by putting out a new trial champion SHD-2H with 2xAC5+PPC...

As if we don't have enough metatarts already, now the noobs can join in on the cheese.


On a positive note, I really like the weapon balance changes, and TrackIR!

LOL yeah poptart shadowhawks are annoying but they are chopping ac5 range at the same time. I'm not too concerned. Rather deal with the shadowhawks than the 6 victors that every drop seems to have.

TrackIR? YES.

Blackjack Hero? YES. Been running my BJ1 and BJ3 like crazy lately - this one looks very good.

TIR is interesting, but going to take some getting used to. The game got a little choppy for me with it on.
Seeing my headless body during the startup sequence was just disturbing. LOL
I like it, but not quite a game changer. I like that it works when on observe though.

I'll tell you when TrackIR is huge in MWO: when you are trying to protect a torso by walking with torso fully twisted. TrackIR lets you look out the side window to pilot your mech without hitting obstacles.

I also found it helpful when trying to track enemies far above or below you, Alpine for instance.
