I've downloaded the client but haven't played w/ the controls yet. I've got a full CH HOTAS, and there hasn't been a game yet that I can't crack, so I'll come back w/ the results and any possible workarounds ASAP.

Initial CH HOTAS control tests are a success! Full range of motion, and everything responds as configured!

I noticed on the install there didn't seem to be a choice as to where it went. The install location was not fully readable as it was something like C:\.....blah blah with dots replacing text. Is there a choice? Can someone tell me where it ended up? Thanks, Stonehouse <edit> don't worry found a workaround. Well, that's a problem (if so you want to call it) for this first Alpha release to Beta Backers. As soon as the 4th Alpha/First Round Beta hits our machines, that should be a normally available choice.

The ED ships roll faster than they yaw so it might be worth putting roll on the stick and yaw on the pedals. Yup, that's the way I've set it up, too.

this has probably been asked before but is it the standard beta which is being released next week ... or is there a premium beta coming first ?
Dont think of it as being vastly outnumbered ... but just having a large target selection.
