Hi,

Someone could tell me if it is worthwhile to assign some controls to analog axis instead of using keys? There are several controls that can be used this way: Prop Pitch I think a good candidate, but you can assign radiator, mixture flaps and even brakes (Not sure if those are air ones).

Thanks.

I think flaps, especially on those aircrafts having no intermediate positions, like Spitfires.

Been flying the game for 13 years. Never had a need to, to be honest.

If you have spare axis (e.g. CH/Saitek quadrant)even secondary commands like radiator, cowl flaps on axis is good because Quadrant lever give you a visual feedback of control position in a glimpse. On rotaries, like these in X-52, X-55 you dont have this feedback...

Radiator control on keys in il-2(original) is the most awkward choice possible for a control (R,R,R,R,R,R,R,R,R,R... Ops! one R more... try "reset" and start count again...) biggrin
