There was no mass nor "light speed", in the beginning. Maybe light is like a gas, and since energy equals mass, the contained energy condenses to mass, when light is slowing down after the initial burst. I just read Pohl's 'Gateway' trilogy, again

This simulation is a joke. It is arcade at best! Where is the accurate physics? Where is the proper switchology? Would this simulation let me know what it's like to really experience the universe? Not at all!
Why did they even bother with this "Quake Universe"?

Lieste, you may be interested in a book called 'Wrinkles in Time'.

Pfft mine is more realistic, at least when it comes to showing how much of it is empty. Ready? I'll initialize it between the lines in this post. //SIMULATION BEGIN ------------------------------- ------------------------------- //SIMULATION ENDED
Scully: Victim died of multiple stab wounds. Mulder: *throws her a file* Ever heard of the knife alien?

The tech support on that would be impossible!

Simulate to me how an atom came to be and then simulate to my why atoms produce energy, and then simulate to me why a negative charge is a negative charge and not afudimatchiguffer charge... Then I'll be impressed.

So we just saw trillions of years of space history pass before our eyes, and not a single Imperial Space Cruiser went by. Yeah right, how realistic is that?

Then I'll be impressed. Considering that it takes the sun 200My to orbit the galaxy once, I would be impressed to see a simulation that can explain how it is that galaxies 13.4By old/away already seem to display spiral shapes in a universe where matter is only 13.7By old.
