I've been getting a German balloon busting mission which will not show as complete, despite shooting down the balloon in every 'Repeat' mission that comes after when it's listed as not being shot down (although it was). Flying in Jasta 6, January 1918.

I believe something like this was an issue in the past but I thought it had been fixed. I recall experiencing this once in the past, with the same circumstances. Perhaps it's back?

Yes, this problem came back for me starting with update v1.20 and forward. I've seen it in German and French squads in campaign mode in 1917 and 1918. Once caught in the "Rerun Mission" loop the only way I know to get out of it is to transfer out of the squad. Twice I was wounded on one of the reruns but when I came back after a week or so in hospital the rerun was still waiting for me. I've seen this problem go 5 to 7 reruns deep with my pilot getting credit for the balloon kill each time, or in the case of testing, running the mission on autopilot where someone in my squad kills the balloon but the reruns continue.

Sorry, Pol, I don't have any pilots with this problem now as I switched to 3rd Party Mission Types and deleted balloon busting missions from the files.

yeah unfortunately as always as soon as you first see balloon issue go wrong, stop, exit, gather all logs, pilot, outcomes.xml etc as per the FAQ last page, as above. Take screenshots of the outcomes might help too. Thanks.

Pretty sure I found the correct pilot, after scanning the pilot logs and finding some incomplete balloon busting mission reference(s).

If that's not the correct one, let me know. I've had a few new pilots since that one.

Depends on how far back the Outcomes records. It's been a few days and a few pilots & missions since then.

Outcomes is overwritten every mission but no worries we'll look at it.
