I know this was a big problem early on in BF3, but it's one that has never completely disappeared, affecting a niche group of users even today still. I'm hoping one of you guys had this issue and fixed it and could tell me how you did it.

The problem is after installing and updating BF3 I tried to run it and got a "could not activate BF3 Limited with the product key you have provided" window, no matter what I try to do the window says Origin is offline, even though its not. I've been struggling with this for days, EA can't help, as all their generic fixes don't work, and any forum posters who had the issue just went silent after fixing it. (I would assume they fixed it as I've seen some with recent activity in the game)

For the be heck of it try launching the game from a different browzer if possible.

I had problems with BF3 awhile back and i was ok once i switched from IE to Google Chrome.

Mine was more of a launching issue than an activation issue, however. So your results may vary.
