Someone in the High Command must hate me as I have flown 8 missions in my Halberstadt D.II and had 5 victory claims which have all been rejected.

I keep reading reports of other guys having kills awarded every time so I don't know what I am doing wrong.

...and some people find it too easy and complain they get them all confirmed!

Well, you should have these points in the claim:

- name a witness, who was really there with you AND who didn't fall in that mission
- select the right aircraft type you shot down

Have a look at your claims - go through the pages of your pilot book to the claims page.
When you move your cursor over the word "Remarks" at the right, you can read your claim
again, plus the addition, wether it was probable or not. That may give you a hint.

I must have been blind as I didn't see the "name a witness" section....no wonder everything was going un-confirmed.

Have a new Campaign underway and 3 missions in I have 1 kill confirmed and another 2 awaiting confirmation.

I may be complaining claims are too easy soon as well..

Well done! I'm not sure if things changed much claims-wise between OFF and WOFF but some of us also added in things like "Fired 120 rounds with hits to fuselage, left wing and engine observed" (as example), tried to note the enemy machine markings if possible, and location of wreckage fall "...crashed into orchard west of Arras from about 1000' altitude". If you were lone wolfing then you could add witnesses like "seen by Observation ballon north of Verdun communication trench" or "observed by Army entrenched near Courcellete"

I've no idea if the excess wording actually helped in the claims being upheld but I figured it couldn't hurt to cram as much info in as possible.
