Just got back from a vacation and was inspired to try another repaint. There is a great HD version of this paint for the Carenado C208, but nothing for the stock C208. Unfortunately quality is limited by the entire aircraft using one 1024x1024 texture.

It took a few hours to finish this off last night (longer than I thought!). The grey "swooshes" and airline website cross over several doors/hatches that are mapped separately, so there was a lot of trial and error regarding placement.

Overall I'm happy with how it turned out, and it was a great learning experience.

Thanks Kludger. The thing that made it possible is that someone had already taken the plain white C208 texture that comes with FSX and broken it out into a layered paint kit with things like shading and panel lines as separate layers. That allowed me to (mostly) just add the red, grey, and other unique details in solid colors and place their layers appropriately in Gimp.
