Big news to me anyway lol! Ive been watching Letterman for 30 years or so. I think Ive recorded every show ever since I had a VHS machine and I still have about 10 recent unwatched shows on my PVR.
the one with Madonna where she was comparing her NBA basketball players friends with something in the studio
and
the Drew Barrymore episode where she and Letterman gets all embarrassed.
Anyone who has been following Letterman for a long time should know what I am talking about.
Yup, there was always the memorable dumb stuff lol!
David Letterman has always been the self-deprecating dumb guy but I think he was always better, intellectually, than all the other talk show hosts at going toe to toe with the best of them ... Bill Clinton, Brian Williams, Tom Brokaw ... whoever. David even used to joke that the road to the White House ran right through his studio.
I also really appreciated his respect for, and interviews with, war vets and race car drivers (http://rahal.com/). He also always seemed to have some of the most leading edge musical acts on his show.

So after he retires that means that Conan O'Brien will be the longest tenured late night host.

Does this mean no chance that Melmon bus lines will ever be restarted?

Look for me on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook or Tic Toc...or anywhere you may frequent, besides SimHq, on the Global Scam Net. Aka, the internet. I am not there, never have been or ever will be, but the fruitless search may be more gratifying then the "content" you might otherwise be exposed to.
