I just reinstalled this game after being away from it for along time. For some reason some of the commands do seem to respond so I was wondering if the commands have changed from the manual?? I been trying the training missions and get no response from the right or left wheel brake to get to the runway for take off practice.
I have also installed the upgrade 2.0 so does this effect anything that I should know about.

This is fairly common; happens to me every time after I've been away from the sim awhile and forgotton. IIRC the trick is to release the brakes AND unlock the tail wheel, ckeck the keycard for the assigned keys. IOW it's pilot error (or amnesia) not equipment failure \:\) But check ingame setup options to make sure the keys are assigned as you're expecting especially the rudder and brakes. IIRC the joystick rudder steering may need set ingame

And hit SHIFT P to unlock the parking brake. Otherwise the plane will still move but can't be steered.

Hi Guys
I went thru the setup options a few times and then done the above suggested and I made it to the runway for take off and a good lift off. YeHaw.
Thanks for the input. It has been a couple years and the old brain goes dead on those key commmands and this sim is not to much like the other ones for normal keys. F for flaps up and down, G for gear up and down. So it will be another learning experience all over again.
Thanks again
Bert
