I'm gonna have to try to find some time to rack up 5 wins this weekend.

Thanks for the heads up on this.

Will definitely have to get some drops in for this.

THAT'S how it's done. I love it. I don't even care about cent's, but that is a very good incentive and we need to support that. Not to mention a free mechbay. I hope if you have bays open it still gives you one?
Doesn't say consecutive either, so I guess any 5?
I'll probably be on tonight at some point.

I will do this, sell the cent and keep the mechbay.

Cool, nice weekend achievement award, much better than that spinning 3050 dashboard thing from one of those other events, will be my first Champion mech thumbsup

And I have already mastered the 9A. Now I'll upgrade the mech.

How do I sell the mech? This UI is so un-intuitive.

Never mind got it ... Home->Inventory

Only took me 6 matches to get my 5 wins. Not sure I'm a big fan of the free mech though. Especially with where SRMs are at.

Maybe I'll play around with some other build ideas...

K, that was frustrating.

Did some pugging over a couple sessions to get the free mech.

Probably took me about 18 matches or so.

Was getting pretty upset with my teams, I can only hope that I was dropping with a bunch of new players that didn't know any better, but it was a bit of a cluster, everyone off on their own to die.

Sigh....

I feel your pain. That is often how my Pugging goes. I don't know how I lucked out and was able to do it so efficiently.

This Thursday (or Tuesday or whatever day) we should all run our new Cents, just for fun. Zombie lances!

I was able to get my Cent after only 7 matches. Perfect, back on the shelf.

Glad I'm not the only one, only had time across the weekend for 6 or so drops, all ending in defeat. I would usually expect no worse than 50/50 so I kind of figured with my lack of practice that it would take about 10-15 drops but if this keeps up it may take a fair bit longer frown

Cripes, I thought it was just me! I got the 5 wins but was on the receiving end of a bunch of 2-12 stomps after that. I was in one game with 6 players in trial mechs on my team... THAT is a bit unreasonable.

Won 5 of 6, but I don't see the mech anywhere. Hard to screw up tally marks to 5. I'll check it again later.

When I logged in again I got the pop up about it. thumbsup

I decided to crank up my original account that got borked during the closed beta to get the free mech on there. Took a LOT longer, about 12 matches due to being stuck with the trial mechs and woefully new players. Clearly some experienced players form a lance and go out beating up on noobs. I rarely got on that team. LOL
Played the cicada, the dragon and the HORRIBLE stalker (1.09 heat!). Actually formed an appreciation for the cicada, about the only mech I was effective in. Captured video on one round where we had a nice group of us beating up the other team in a little 3 mech swarm.

I thought the trial Dragon and the old trial Blackjack were two of the best trial mechs in the game so far... although I admit that piloting Dragons is an acquired taste.

Agreed on the Stalker. Setting up new players with that ghost heat nightmare in addition to having an XL in the least XL-friendly mech is a cruel joke. That mech would be 100x better with 2 LRM15 and 2 LRM 5 and using the saved tonnage to put a STD engine in there. No ghost heat and far better durability.

Just messing around in smurfy for 5 mins a huge improvement can be had:

The problem with the dragon was the gauss. And the XL engine. I far prefer my std engine Flame with 4ML and and AC20.
I don't think you can alter trial mechs.
I've got enough money in there now to buy a medium or heavy. I might play around with that account some. And of course I've got that Cent now, the only mech I actually own. LOL
