I probably do not understand? I already gave the link to purchase - I sold the most in Russia. One guy from Germany promised to write to this forum when it receives KG13. His premise already left Russia customs. You can also buy it

FC Bauer make (and sold) metal laser cut kit for gimbal assembly - that is done with nut and bolts, and rivets. Options for adapt in COTS joystick or DIY desk mount, long stick. The laser cut ensure precise assembly for ball bearings. I dont know real numbers, but seem they are affordable. http://avia-sim.ru/forum/files/6_207.jpgBTW - These pictures is not mine (unfortunately), is from one Bauer consumer from Russia. I link then here to show more of Bauer work. Sokol1

Sorry, Sokol, I thought "one happy Baur customer" meant you. Dreaming is free.
MMaister, you are right about all the great, hidden work on the Russian forums. I only know of it because of Sokol's reports to the rest of us non-Slavic fliers. I think the Russians are leading the way in all things flight sim. They're programming the next gen games, BoS and DCS WWII, and building great hardware, VKB, Baur, Slaw & Milan (Eastern Europe).
Just missing Norway... Still trying to convince you to go commercial with your designs, MMaister! Hint, hint. No pressure, mate.
Cheers,
FC

I do not know how it is with the shipping in different countries, to my Germany it worked!
The delivery took forever, about a month.... post office and customs ...
I am very pleased that the pen (KG 13) arrived safely in Germany!

Baur, if you sell stick bases with interchangeable grips, all of us here will be yelling "SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!" faster than you can take it all. Someone else I met says that your gimbal design is the best-engineered on the market with the cam system. Better than the Black Mamba, better than the U2-NXT, better than everything. Perfect smoothness and easily-tailored force profiles are possible with it, he claims. I'd like to try one out myself, but obviously, ordering a gimbal is a bit of a problem. I bet you'd make a lot of sales by selling Saitek X-52 mod kits of the sort I saw pictures of somewhere; that's actually how I first heard of you. Alternatively, I'd suggest selling stick bases with the user's choice of stick grips. KG13s are too simple for my tastes, but a near-authentic MiG-29, Su-27 or Su-35 grip without the omissions found in the Defender Cobra M5/VKB Black Mamba grip (missing cannon trigger chief among them) would be great. Even better yet, if you're willing to produce a force-feedback variant, make a Ka-50 cyclic and corresponding anti-torque pedals!

There's several modern grips in that thread, and they're all shaping up nicely!
I do have one minor concern about the trigger assembly, however; I only spot two microswitches, one for each trigger.
This is fine for most purposes, but due to the way DCS handles cannon modes, there needs to be a way for it to detect when the main trigger is flipped up so that it switches into and out of cannon mode, and that presumably requires another microswitch.
It's a cramped space in there, though; I'm not sure if they even have room for an additional tac switch or other form of microswitch to accomplish that.
They could also sell these stick grips for Cougar/Warthog, Black Mamba and maybe even X-55 use, but my concern with all three of those is that those sticks' grip interfaces presumably only handle digital button inputs, and the slew control on real Russian sticks is analog, of course. They'd have to downgrade that aspect to a digital hat with click-down for it to work.
